Welcome to my website.
I’m Ksenia, an artist based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
My work exists somewhere between past and present, where myth meets personal experience. It’s a space shaped by memory, symbolism, and quiet emotional undercurrents.
My work moves between folklore, pagan symbolism, and emotional states that are often difficult to name directly.
I’m especially drawn to fairy tales — historically, they carried truths that couldn’t be spoken openly, offering a language for what was hidden or censored. Returning to them feels like a way of staying honest, without needing everything to be explained.
Childhood imagery, rituals, and the folklore I grew up with remain a constant reference, alongside archetypes that continue to shape how I see the world.
There’s also a strong pull toward mysticism — the sense that life is layered with symbols, signs, and quiet meanings that reveal themselves the more you notice them.
Living in different countries, speaking multiple languages, and moving between cultures has deepened this perspective. It keeps showing me how often the same ideas, emotions, and symbols reappear in different forms — as if there’s a shared inner language that connects us beneath everything visible.
What I’m looking for in my work is an emotional response that feels personal and real.
It means the most to me when someone tells me they felt seen — when something resonates in a way that’s hard to explain but instantly familiar.
That’s why I’m drawn to fantasy. It creates a space where we can recognize something true about ourselves more freely, without needing to define it.
