Welcome to my website, I am Ksenia, an artist based in the enchanting city of Vilnius, Lithuania.

My artwork intricately weaves together elements of folklore, pagan myths, and the rich visual language of fairytales. By drawing on motifs familiar from childhood, and the ancient symbolism of gods and mythic narratives, I strive to evoke a sense of universal familiarity through shared cultural touchstones.

Each piece I create is a meticulous endeavor, reflecting my meditative process and deep engagement with the subject matter. This practice not only serves as a personal journey towards understanding and resolution but also results in works that are profoundly detailed and expressive. My art represents an exploration of life and an earnest attempt to decipher the complexities of the world.

I extend an invitation to viewers to delve into this visual dialogue, fostering a connection that transcends verbal communication. Through my art, I aim to create a shared space where we can communicate and empathize, united by the universal language of imagery and symbol.

Collection: Unusual Paintings & Original Artwork By Independent Artist

Unusual paintings and original artwork exist outside of expected visual structures. In this collection, I explore compositions that resist familiarity — where forms behave differently, proportions shift, and visual logic becomes less predictable.

The unusual is not defined by randomness, but by deviation. It emerges through subtle disruptions: a face that does not fully resolve, botanical elements that take on unfamiliar shapes, or compositions that feel slightly off-balance. These shifts create a sense of tension between recognition and uncertainty.

There is a quiet intensity in imagery that does not immediately conform. The viewer is invited to look longer, to question what is seen, and to remain within a space that does not offer quick clarity. Meaning is not presented directly, but suggested through contrast, distortion, and unexpected relationships between elements.

As an independent artist, I approach unusual painting and artwork as a way to move beyond established visual patterns. Each piece develops through experimentation and intuitive decisions, allowing forms to evolve without being confined to conventional expectations.

These works are not designed to feel comfortable or resolved. They remain open, slightly dissonant, and intentionally unresolved — encouraging a more active and personal engagement with the image.
